History of Cartography - or the study of early maps. Maintained by Tony Campbell of the British Library. As part of this site two pages are worth particular mention - "Images of early maps on the web" and this page "Web articles and commentaries on specific topics in the history of cartography", (the only comprehensive listings of their kind, comprising almost 600 links each - updated every month).

MapRecord Publications is the publisher of the Antique Map Price Record. This CD-ROM, issued annually, is recognized as the most comprehensive reference work of its kind in the antiquarian map field. The site includes a directory of antique map dealers.

Mapseeker - a new site offering genealogy resources in the form of searchable scans of 17th-19th century town and city plans. Also high quality reproductions of plans and county maps for sale in several formats.
